Magic Mike

Magic Mike (2012) by Steven Soderbergh
Uses brilliantly all the techniques of a film storytelling, although it retains very humble appearance. Steven consistently suppresses the pomposity of Hollywood production.
A few characters, locations and cuts together with relatively small scope of the plotline (no CIA, mafia, or retired US army squad member invade the story in any way) make the film look like a chamber piece.
All the more power lies in certain moments that provide the film with a rough beauty of the deserted island where the strippers go for their parties.
