SR: Dark Horse EN

Dark Horse (2005) by Dagur Kari
Begins as a comedy about lost souls with conversations that do not make much of a sense to those of us who work hard – Clerks (1994), 25 Watts (2001) – slightly romantic – Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006). It gradually becomes heavier, and a need of overtime, a few more days of nothing, and at the same time of genuine experiencing.
Most of us share the difficulties of decision-making.
The ending still retains hope, in its charming variation on final processions.
